Your Tough Life as a Student

a very good question to get to know each other. as a teacher i have my own ideas and thoughts concerning this topic but i will first ask my stduents to post thier replies then give my own. we would like also to know about the difficulties stduents face in St. Louis.

The homework is hard, and in the 5th grade teachers will push you as hard as they can.

I think the toughest thing about school is that we have tons of homework everyday and that I have to wake up at 6:30 in the morning.

I think the toughest thing about being a student is doing all the homework and school work. I think that we shouldn't have so much homework. It is usually very hard to do all of it in a short afternoon. Luckily, I live about 1 mile away from school. One of my favorite sports to play during recess is football.:cheers:What do you like to play?

The toughest thing about being an 11yr old student is the homework 
We get tons of homework a night. We ALWAYS get math, usually science, sometimes language arts, and rarely world cultures.
When I'm not doing homework, I'm watching TV or at my friend's house. we usually play Medal Of Honor or Desert Storm 2.

The work is kinda hard at MICDS. They give you a lot of tests and quizzes. We also have to walk a lot to reach the pool, at 0 degrees. We also walk a long way to science and the arts, and the lunch line is long.

There are a lot of things that are hard about being a student. Some things that have been hard during P.E. We have had to walk a long way outside in freezing cold weather after being in a pool. Right no we are doing strength and arobics, and it is very hard. We have to run a lot, and do push ups and crunches and a lot of other hard stuff. What do you do in P.E.?

I think privileges are hard as a student. When I wake up, When I go to sleep, What and when I eat,etc. Also I think walking to far away classes is also bad. There is not enough recess. Finally I think that we should come to school whenever We want instead of 7:40.

Most of are classes are far away like science, and lunch. All lot of my classes are hard like Math, science, and language arts. I also think we should get more recess. It is still very cold outside.

Another hard thing about being a student is that we walk a lot to classes that are very far away from our lockers. I think they should be closer.

Hi, I think it's hard as a life as a student (11 years old) by alot of our classes are on the other side of campus. Also we don't get alot of recess(20 min.). Also the compation to get good grades and get into the best school(etc.) also we start school too early.

The hardest part of middle school is having recess, on regular days we have only 20 minutes daily. On late start day we have only 10 minutes of recess, this is why this the hardest part of recess.

Hi guys! The hardest part of school is balancing everything. You have to balance school, friends, after school activities, and whatever else you decide to do! For me, I do dance and it is hard to balance everything! And it's not like you can delete anything out of your life!!! Any other thoughts or thoughts like this? Any help?

The hardest thing about school for me is the fact of waking up i n the morning. I just want to sleep in

The hardest thing is that the lunch room gets so crowded that it takes a long time to get your food and you have to eat fast so that you are not late to class.

Well, my mom is always on my back about my schoolwork, the lunch could have steak or ribs or tater tots, I hate all the homework I get for subjects like math, English, etc. And #1 I hate that not all the teachers exactly listen. Oh and I have to get up at six. And sometimes the kids aren't the nicest.
