10 Hints to lose weight
To follow a diet is the best occasion to one's bad food habits. Having good food habits ensures the maintenance of an ideal body weight. Follow a balanced diet, simple and varied food and practice a good food choice.
1. Eat regularly, three meals per day and a collation in the afternoon.
2. Don’t miss a meal and avoid picking at food.
3. Take your time, sit down and eat quietly.
4. Moderate your consumption of sugar and sugary products (pastries, sweets, sugary and alcoholic drinks….) fats (sauce, fried food, pork butchery, fatty cheese and fatty seasoning,)
5. Priority to the consumption of proteins (lean meat, fish, dairy products).
6. Priority to the consumption of vegetables and fruits, for they provide fibers, vitamins and minerals.
7. Use easily digestible cooking modes: buttered-paper for cooking, steam cooking, grilling, roasting….. Vary the seasoning by adding herbs and spices, yogurt lemon, wheat sprouts.
8. Weigh yourself once a week, in the morning, before eating or drinking.
9. Drink in copious amounts (1.5 l per day) natural or aromatized water, infusions, tea and weak coffee ….. Without or with a tiny piece of sugar.
10. Exercise regularly, choose an adapted sport (walking, jogging, cycling, swimming...)
